Stratford

Overview

Institute of Making Stratford is 1,000m2 of bespoke facilities designed to expand the depth and breadth of what we can do whilst also maintaining our experimental, hands-on, celebratory approach to all aspects of materials and processes.

At the heart of the Stratford site is our large open-plan studio and multi-materials workshop, surrounded by a number of specialist rooms offering dedicated spaces for ceramics, CNC machining, electronics, 3D printing, plastic processing, metal work, textiles, food and the Materials Library.

Our Stratford space is in the process of opening up this year. If you’re an Institute of Making member, keep an eye on your email to find out about upcoming activities in the new space. If you’re not a member, come and have a look around our Stratford site at one of our public open days and events instead. Our team will be on hand to answer any questions and to show you around.

Join our mailing list to be kept up to date with our adventures, activities, events and material extravaganzas.
