Festival of Stuff: Dustpan and Brush Masterclass
Festival of Stuff
Join green woodworker Geoffrey Fisher to make a dustpan and brush set. You will use ash a hand-selected from Mop End Woods in Buckinghamshire, thin plywood and wild hog bristles. Geoff has permission to use any wood that has already been cut by the landowner to maintain pathways, etc.
Geoff is a green woodworker based in High Wycombe, surrounded by woodlands. He has permission to use any wood that has already been cut by the landowner to maintain pathways. He uses a range of traditional cabinet making techniques to transform twigs and branches into characterful, handcrafted objects for the home. His collection ranges from hooks and tabletop dustpan and brushes, to skipping ropes, whistles and slingshots.
Our events coordinator visited Geoff at his studio recently, read her blog post here.
