Festival of Stuff: Morning - Plant Moisture Sensor Masterclass

Festival of Stuff

Have you ever over or under watered your plant? Join the Institute of Making’s technicians to create a low-cost moisture and light sensor allowing you to take care of your plant. You will connect a moisture sensor, a light sensor and some LEDs to an Arduino compatible micro controller and write a program to control it.

Please bring a Windows or OSX Mac laptop with you, as you will need this for programming the chip. You will learn how to set up the Arduino programming environment and write code, if you have not done this before.

The masterclass will be run by creative technologists Romain and George.
