Festival of Stuff: Morning Session - Soap Making Workshop

Festival of Stuff

This session explores the basic chemistry of soap making. Make your own soap mould using our vacuum former, and learn how to make your own olive oil and coconut soap, scented with essential oils.

Fresh soap needs to be cured for 4 weeks. On leaving the workshop you will take home a soap making goodie bag, which will include: your soap in its mould, litmus paper and instructions on how to do it again.

Soap is used in the process of traditional felt making, so if you join this workshop and the felting masterclass you will be a pro!

This masterclass is not suitble for under 16's, people between the ages of 16-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
