Festival of Stuff: Morning - Silver Ring Masterclass
Festival of Stuff Public Events*** Ticket bookings go live on Wednesday 18th May at 7pm. Due to the popularity of the workshops we can only allow two Festival of Stuff workshop bookings per person across the week. ***
In this workshop, Bine Roth will teach the simplest and most important shape within jewellery making: the ring. Participants will spend the session learning how to cut, shape and file silver and will end up forming their very own piece of jewellery, either a classic silver ring or a more sculptural piece of jewellery. In teaching this masterclass, Bine will use core parts of her practice which are driven by strong shapes and dedicated to designs that dance on the body.
Bine is a material specialist and jewellery designer. Holding an MA in Textile and Mixed Media from the Royal College of Art, Bine has been teaching different insitutions, including London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London and Chelsea College of Art. She is also a member of the design platform Peut-Porter.
No experience or skill necessary, all welcome!
