Members Event: CNC Milling

Members Event: Robots Week Member Events

CNC milling can create accurate and precise shapes and sizes and has a wide range of applications, but is this the correct machine to use for your project?
In this informative workshop led by Richard (our technician) you will explore the potentials of CNC milling and leave with an understanding of the machine and its capabilities. You will be discussing what is CNC milling and which milling strategies to use? You will also be given an overview of which software to use, and be given examples of the capabilities of CNC milling including what we can do here at the Institute of Making.
To finish the session we will take a short walk over to the Bartlett to see their 7 axis Kuka arm in action.
