Members Event - Factory Tour: Closed loop recycling

This is going to be the first of a new series of events, and to kick it off we are heading out to Dagenham to visit Closed Loop Recycling. This facility produces food-grade recycled materials from polyethylene terephalate (PET) drinks bottles and high density polyethylene (HDPE) milk bottles, reprocessing 35,000 tonnes of mixed plastic bottles every year! We will be taken on a tour of all the processes at their first ever plant, which is fitted with state-of-the-art technology to sort, wash and super-clean both types of plastic.
