Members Event: Experimental Laser Cutting

Members Event: Robots Week Member Events

Have you always wanted to experiment with the potential of the laser cutter? Do you have an unusual project that you would like to give a go?

We are running a short workshop that will allow you to experiment with an array of materials to see what they might do. The laser cutter can cut, engrave and etch but how can we push the boundaries and stretch those possibilities? Can you cook an egg in the laser cutter? Can you cure resins or silicone in the laser cutter? Join us to test, play and experiment.

This class has limited numbers so we are asking those who wish to participate to complete the application form, telling us what you would like to experiment with in the laser cutter and why this would aid your explorations. Will will then select 4 or 5 applications.
