Papermaking Consultation (Online)

This autumn, we welcome London-based book artist and papermaker, Mandy Brannan, to our Stratford space.  Sign up for a 15-minute consultation with Mandy to chat through your idea. Then book a longer 1-2-1 in-person session to get hands on and develop your project together.

Since the 90’s, Mandy has developed her experimental papermaking practice by combining both Japanese and Western papermaking methods; combining traditional bast fibers (gampi and kozo) with leaf fibers (abaca and sisal) to create complex patterns and layers.

How to book: You will need to register as a member of the Institute of Making in order to book this workshop, which is open to all staff and students at UCL. Once registered, you can book this workshop. You will also receive email notification of upcoming events and news, which you can opt out of at any time.
