Iains talk will be divided into three parts.
1. "A Brief History of Robots" - the origins of the name, early concepts of automatons and the enabling technologies that brought us through to the modern era where the words Robot and Bot have become part of our everyday language.
2. "NaThaRo" - An interactive and fun activity where you can also show some of your knowledge of Robot History.
3. "Robots I have known" -A personal history of Robots - where he will talk about the Robots and Autonomous systems he has built and been associated with over the years and a very personal view of the immediate present, which will soon be joining the history.
