Public Open Day: April - Plastic Fantastic

Public Events

From April onwards, the Institute of Making opens it's doors on the last Saturday of every month, to explore and get hands on with the Materials Library collection, to try out tools in the MakeSpace, and to try your hand at tinkering; we'll be hosting different activities each time. We'll also host demonstrations and maker sessions with experts and enthusiasts from different backgrounds; from electronics to breadmaking, neon to rope.

This time we're exploring plasticity, from infinitely remouldable thermosoft plastic, to 3D Printing, lastercutting and a VAST lump of bread dough, with lots more besides.

The events are free - no need to book - drop in between 1pm and 4pm.
Space is limited.
