Silver Ring - Afternoon Masterclass

Member Events

In this workshop, designer Rahel Pfrommer will teach the simplest and most important shape within jewellery making; the ring. Participants will spend the session learning how to cut, shape and file silver and will end up forming their very own piece of jewellery, either a classic silver ring or a more sculptural piece of jewellery. In teaching this masterclass, Rahel will use core parts of her practice which are driven by the line and dedicated to simplicity and small details.

Rahel works professionally within the jewellery and textiles industry. She holds a MA in Textile Design from the Royal College of Art and a previous degree in Jewellery and Everyday object Design from the school of design in Pforzheim, Germany. Based in London Rahel is working between body and space and challenges the perception of both fields. Her work covers many fields, ranging from the design of jewellery, to spatial arrangements, furniture design and woven fabrics for fashion.
