In this silversmithing masterclass, jewellers Bine & Rahel join forces to teach you a series of precious metal-working techniques: how to anneal, shape, twist, cut, file and solder silver wire. Both Rahel and Bine's design practices are described by strong minimal shapes – designs that frame and integrate the body - and with physical samples on hand, they will explore and inspire your own design choices during the session. You will leave with a self-made unique piece of jewellery: a ring, earring, cuff or pendant, the choice is yours!

Bine is a material specialist and jewellery designer. Since her graduation at the Royal College of Art in MA Textiles Mixed Media, Bine has been teaching at different institutions internationally. Since 2023 Bine is a Tutor for the Textiles Programme at the Royal College of Art. Besides her teaching she is a member of the design platform  Peut-Porter .
