Stratford Pottery Wheel Test Session
We are testing out the new ceramics room in our Stratford space! In this 2-hour session, members who have previously completed the potters wheel tool training can rehearse their throwing skills while technicians check how the space stands up to being used. However, the session is truly for practicing only: as our kilns and drying systems are not yet up and running, you will need to use clay we'll provide, you won't be able bring or keep pieces for trimming, and you'll have to put everything made during this session into the clay recycling bucket at the end.
Don’t wear shoes with high heels and make sure to trim your nails short before the session.

Top tip: the Marshgate Building is situated next to the ArcelorMittal Orbit slide and viewing tower which serves as a useful landmark to help you find your way. Once you have arrived at Marshgate Building, ask reception to direct you to our members' entrance on the first floor.
