The Essence of Fluorescence
The Festival of Materials & Making - Kings College London
The Institute of Making team resurrects their cabinet of fluorescent curiosities, first shown at the Hayward Gallery. Some of the highlights of the display include a full set of human teeth, a uranium glass fruit bowl, dodgy diamonds and ‘GFP’, the green fluorescent protein so popular in bioengineering.
