UCL Repair Cafe Talk @MechSpace, 44 Wicklow Street

Public Events

Why is important to make stuff last longer? How is repairing things better for the environment and our well being too? And what business and policy changes are needed to help more people to maintain and repair their stuff? Join us for a lunchtime talk about the UK repair system and the latest research from our UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research work.

With Danielle Purkiss - architect, materials researcher, and Head of Research & Development at UCL’s Institute of Making.

After our talk, stay for coffee and tea and then join our expert fixers for further UCL Repair Cafe activities between 12-3pm.
