Take this session to start using our Stratford workshop spaces and book our events!
What to expect
During this session you'll be introduced to the ideas and ethos behind the Institute of Making, and familiarise yourself with our members’ agreement. You’ll also get a tour of the Stratford space, including the Materials Library and different workshop areas, as well as learning some basic workshop tools.
After this attending this session (and once you’ve signed our member agreement) your UCL ID card will be given access to the Stratford space. Card access can take up to 5 working days to be enabled.
As an inducted Institute of Making member, you will be able to use our Stratford workshop spaces during our opening hours. You will also be able to book making masterclasses and tool training sessions on our website.
A quick note about Institute of Making Bloomsbury: to access our Bloomsbury space including our Materials Library, please attend this New Member Induction, and then book a ‘Bloomsbury Orientation’ session. Your orientation session will take 20 minutes.
