Key information

Green tools are our general-use tools. These have either been demonstrated or explained in your New Member Induction, or are safe for use after a demonstration by a technician. Always ask a member of staff before using any green tools for the first time, or if you are not sure how to use these safely.

A drill driver is an extremely useful tool in most projects. It is used for making round holes or driving fasteners, like screws, to construct workpieces. It can be fitted with either a drill bit or a driver bit to perform either operation.

Drills are commonly used in woodworking, metalworking and construction. They have two speed settings - the lower-speed setting is for screw driving. It also has a torque selection ring near the chuck. All of our drill drivers are battery-operated.

Please note

Fastenings on workpieces that require higher torque will need an impact driver.

What can I use this tool for?
