Key information
Green tools are our general-use tools. These have either been demonstrated or explained in your New Member Induction, or are safe for use after a demonstration by a technician. Always ask a member of staff before using any green tools for the first time, or if you are not sure how to use these safely.
Impact drivers are similar to electric drill drivers when used to drive screws or bolts, but additionally have a spring-driven mechanism that delivers rotational striking blows to apply more torque. They are mainly used in woodworking, joinery and construction.
All of our impact drivers are battery-operated.
Please note
Impact drivers are often confused with drill drivers. See a technician if you are unsure whether your project needs one.
