Key information
Yellow tools require further training. Training will be available either in the form of a bookable tool training session, or by dropping into the space and making an arrangement with a technician.
A mitre saw is a power saw with a circular blade that is pulled down vertically into a material to separate it. It can be used to make straight cuts, or cuts at angles up to 45° in either direction.
Please note
No metal can be used with this machine.
What can I use this tool for?
Trimming lengths of timber to size with an accurate, straight cut, particularly longer lengths or thicker stock that is more difficult to do by hand. The mitre saw is also excellent for instances in which many lengths require cutting.
